About our Program

The First Baptist Learning Center was established in August of 1982. Since that time we have provided a program of preschool classes for infants through five years old and child care for school-age children through the fifth grade.

We offer financial assistance through Child Care Management Services.

First Baptist Learning Center is certified through the Texas Rising Star Program with a Four Star rating.

The Center is governed by a church-appointed committee and administered by the Director. Each member of the teaching staff is a trained teacher who possesses the competency and understanding essential in teaching young children as well as the basic love for little children.

Each teacher receives a minimum of 20 hours of training/enrichment annually. The staff is certified in CPR and First Aid.

Our teachers believe that children are gifts from God that you have entrusted to our care. We will love and care for your child as though they were one of our own, for they are a child of God.

Children are our only business…they come first in our hearts and dedication.
