First Baptist Church, Wills Point
Michael realized at an early age that God had called him into the
ministry. He was raised in Allen, Texas and graduated from Dallas
Baptist University with his degree in Music and attended
Southwestern Theological Seminary. God has blessed him with a gift
that he realizes came from God and nothing from himself.
Michael serves as the Worship Leader/Minister of Music of Sunnyvale,
First Baptist Church. Prior to his full time position at SFBC, he
had the opportunity to travel and share Christ through music and
testimony. His extensive travels have included concerts, camps,
revivals and retreats.
He or his group, Living Proof, are available for Christian events
such as, church wide concerts, youth rallies, youth camps, senior
adult and children’s events. Please contact Debra (972-226-7105) or

purchasing Michael’s CD’s.
Michael is married to Debra and they have three daughters, Rachel,
Leah and Laura. Rachel is married to Kevin and they have three
daughters, identical twins, Korbyn and Kelsey and Brinley. Leah is a
student at Texas A&M University and Laura attends Forney High
School.
This year, VBS is June 23-27 and the theme is Outrigger Island
(tropical).
There is a VBS workshop at FBC Forney,
1003 College Street; on Monday, April
28th from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. to kick start the season, familiarize people with
the theme, music, crafts, etc.
Anyone interested is welcome to attend the event. Stephanie
Donehoo and Carrie Mikos are directing VBS and would like to fill in
the empty slots ASAP if anyone is interested. They can call or
e-mail either one of us and we’ll get them the information.
The needs are as follows:
Recreation Leader (older kids)
Pre-K (I have one but need one more for this large group)
We
can also use volunteers to assist teachers in other classes, help in
hospitality room, snack, etc.

for Wednesday nights, Sunday Nights, and some Sunday mornings. You may pick up an application in
